If the blood tests show that one has an abnormal antiphospholipid antibodies, but in case don't have the history of the blood clots, with the low-dose aspirin tablets that could be usually recommended. However, if you can't take the aspirin, you might be prescribed with the alternative antiplatelet tablet, which is called clopidogrel.

In some of the patients, the antibodies are seen as transient and it leads to disappearance within 2 or 3 months. In the other susceptible individuals, they would persist and then raises the question of whether the infections that might trigger with the development of the aPL antibodies in different autoimmune diseases.
