Autogen Panel Test

In this test, there is a diagnosis of a variety of congenital conditions by the analysis of chromosomes. In this test, there can be the identification of congenital chromosomal abnormalities, which involve aberrations of chromosomes and also monosomy and trisomy. Lupus Anticoagulants are the antibodies (IgG and IgM). These antibodies interfere with the coagulation tests, which are phospholipid dependent, Mainly involving Activated partial thromboplastin time.

These antibodies may lead to some disorders, such as-

• Abortions
• Arterial and venous thrombosis
• Neurological disorders

These Cardiolipin antibodies are helpful in the diagnosis of such patients with an increased risk of thrombosis, recurrent abortions, and phospholipid antibody syndrome.

IgA

It is an antibody which is produced  in our body that helps in the protection of our immune system. These antibodies are produced by the lymphoid tissue of the gastrointestinal. There should be good levels of IgA present in our bodies. The deficiency of these antibodies will lead to abnormalities in our body and weaken our immune system to fight against foreign substances.

IgM

It is the first antibody which is produced by our body.ImThese Cardiolipin antibodies are helpful in the diagnosis of such patients with an mune responses of our body are regulated by this antibodies .If there is an increase in the level of IgM in the body,it will lead to many disorders such as increase in the chance of occurrence of cancer mainly liver cancer.

Indications for testing of Phospholipid antibodies-

The testing of phospholipids is done when the patient has-

• Fetal deaths during pregnancy
• Increase in the abortion cases
• Systemic rheumatic disease.
• Thrombocytopenia
• Thrombotic Endocarditis
• Arterial and venous thrombosis

How the test is prepared

Immunopathology is done.

The test is conducted, and the samples are shipped at a specific temperature. The samples sent are kept in a refrigerator at a particular temperature.

 During the test, the patient is kept on overnight fasting.

Patients with heparin and anticoagulant consumption should stop the medications 7 days before the conduction of the test. The stoppage of medication is consulted by the physician.
