What is Triple H test?
When HIV, HBV and HCV infections are present together at the same time in the same individual, it is known as triple infection or triple H infections. These infections remain a major public health problem and are not uncommon.
HIV (Human Immunodeficiency virus), HBV (Hepatitis B), and HCV (Hepatitis C) Co-infections are common as these infections share common mode of transmission. So, HIV-infected people are at high risk of triple infections with HBV and HCV.

- Then a small needle will be inserted in the vein of your arm and required amount of blood is withdrawn from it and collected in a test tube.
- Then the needle is removed and an adhesive sticker is placed on the puncture site to prevent it from infections.
- Sample is sent to laboratory for further processing and testing.
