HLA - B7 (B*07) Test Cost & Procedure

The HLA B7 test is used to identify patients with seronegative spondyloarthropathy, juvenile spondyloarthropathy, and some cases like Undifferentiated Spondyloarthropathy. This is also known as a disease marker.

What is HLA B7?

HLA- B7 is a polymorphic protein of the human MHC class. This is a type of surface protein that is a heterodimer consisting of a specific transmembrane HLA- B chain paired with beta microglobulin sulin.

This is a class of serotypes which is known as HLA-B. A serotype that identifies the gene product is called HLA-B * 07.

The haplotypes have B7 in them. It is seen in a vast region. B7 is a primary cautious attribute for cervical cancer and sarcoidosis.

Diseases HLA B7 causes 

The most common conditions are inflammatory bowel disease, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and reactive arthritis. All of these diseases fall under seronegative spondyloarthropathy.

What do you mean by spondyloarthropathy?

It is also considered spondylarthrosis. The disease is defined as any joint disorder or vertebral column. It is a bunch of conditions or a group of diseases. Many of these diseases involve spondyloarthropathy and spondylopathy.

Low backache is the main symptom of spondyloarthropathy. Most people suffer from axial spondyloarthritis. Some patients suffer from inflammation in large joints of the legs and arms.
