Phyllodes tumor, also known as cystosarcoma phyllodes or simply phyllodes tumor, is a rare type of breast tumor that develops in the stromal (connective) tissue of the breast. Phyllodes tumors are typically benign (non-cancerous), but they can also be malignant (cancerous) in some cases.

Symptoms of phyllodes tumors may include a palpable lump in the breast that may be painless or tender, a rapidly growing mass, a change in breast size or shape, and in some cases, skin changes or nipple discharge.
